The Maverick holds the distinction of being the first commercial pickup truck in the U.S. to offer a standard full hybrid engine. This 2.5-liter combines 191 horsepower with 155 pound-feet of torque, giving it a 2,000-pound max towing capacity. If you need even more strength, the available 250-horsepower 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine should satisfy, as it delivers 277 pound-feet of torque and can tow up to 4,000 pounds when properly equipped.
